The CAEB Journal
Cashmere golf sweater guide

Read the composition, not just the name
When comparing cashmere golf sweaters, check the stated fibre composition. A jumper described as a cashmere blend is not the same composition as one labelled 100% cashmere.
The CAEB Condor Cashmere Crewneck is 100% cashmere in deep navy. Composition alone does not tell you how a garment will fit, or establish waterproofing, wind resistance or durability. Look for confirmed specifications rather than assuming technical performance from the material name.
Choose a fit for the layers you wear
The Condor has a classic crewneck fit and comes in S, M, L and XL. CAEB’s current size guidance is to choose your usual size, or size up for a more relaxed layer.
Consider what you intend to wear underneath. When trying on a golf sweater, check the shoulders, sleeves and hem, then make your normal address position and swing movement to judge whether the fit suits you.
CAEB does not currently supply garment measurements. If you are between sizes or need a specific chest or sleeve measurement, ask CAEB before choosing rather than relying on an estimated size chart.
A crewneck for on and off the course
The intended use is straightforward: golf clothing that can also be worn in the clubhouse or away from the course. The deep navy colour and crewneck shape are the starting point; whether it suits your own wardrobe is a matter of preference.
The removable gold Condor pin gives you a choice about the visible mark. Wear the pin when you want that detail, or remove it for a more understated look. It is a styling detail, not a performance feature.
Check care before you choose
Before buying a cashmere sweater, make sure its care requirements suit you. Follow the garment’s care label for the washing method, temperature and drying instructions; do not assume instructions for another cashmere jumper apply.
For the Condor, remove the detachable pin before cleaning the garment and keep it separate. If you need confirmation of a particular washing or dry-cleaning method before registering interest, contact CAEB for the garment’s care instructions. This guide does not substitute a general cashmere care routine for a confirmed care label.
